Abstract:
To provide a toilet seat device which can suppress failures of a detection circuit when a short circuit between a detection electrode and a heater occurs.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device includes: a toilet seat which has an internal space, a seating surface, and an inner surface facing an opposite side of the seating surface in the internal space; a heater which is provided in the internal space and warms the seating surface from the inside through the inner surface; a detection electrode provided in the internal space; a detection circuit which is connected to the detection electrode for detecting an electrostatic capacity of the detection electrode; a control part for detecting seating on the toilet seat based on the electrostatic capacity detected by the detection circuit; and a capacitor provided between the detection electrode and the detection circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
