Abstract:
To provide a toner cartridge that reduces the remaining amount of toner after use.SOLUTION: A toner cartridge of an embodiment has: an elongated toner storage body that stores toner; a toner discharge part that is provided at a lower part on one end of the toner storage body; a paddle and an auger that are rotatably supported inside the toner storage body around a longitudinal direction of the toner storage body; and a rectangular scraping member that has elasticity and is fixed in a cantilever manner to one long side part of the paddle extending along the axis of rotation of the paddle. The toner discharge part discharges the toner to supply the toner to an image forming apparatus. The paddle rotates to stir the toner. The auger has a screw blade extending spirally around the axis of rotation, and rotates to convey the toner toward the toner discharge part. A short side of the scraping member extending perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the paddle has a length in which the paddle collides with an inner wall of the toner storage body and the auger along with the rotation of the paddle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
