Title:
TONER DENSITY SENSOR AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017126043
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner density sensor that can suppress deterioration in detection accuracy due to noise light even when the distances between a light emitting device and light receiving devices are decreased to reduce the size of the sensor.SOLUTION: A toner density sensor (11) comprises: a light emitting device (12); light receiving devices (13, 14) that receive reflected light emitted from the light emitting device (12) and reflected on a detection object; a substrate (15) on which surface the devices are mounted; and a case (16), where a light path for light generated from the light emitting device (12) and the substrate (15) are provided in parallel. The substrate (15) has groove parts (21) formed therein depressed in the thickness direction from the mounting surface and passing from an end (15a) through between the light emitting device (12) and light receiving devices (13, 14), and the case (16) is provided with insertion parts (23) inserted into the groove parts (21).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
