Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor for a transmission, for detecting highly accurately a load torque applied to the transmission, and to provide a transmission with a torque sensor.SOLUTION: A non-torque strain value generated on an output shaft is stored beforehand in a form corresponding to its rotation position in the state having no transfer of a load torque related to the output shaft of a transmission. Then, the non-torque strain value stored corresponding to the rotation position of the output shaft is read out, and a load torque applied when the load torque is actually transferred to the output shaft is calculated based on a difference between the read out value and the detected strain value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
