Abstract:
To provide a train control system which performs ATC control for shortening a train operation interval by transmitting train position information and control information through radio communication.SOLUTION: A train control system comprises: a ground-side device 30 having a radio communication part 31 that can transmit/receive data to/from a device on a side of a vehicle traveling on a railway track 10 through LCX cables installed along the railway track 10; and an on-board device 20 installed on a vehicle 12 traveling on the railway track 10 and having radio communication means 21 that can transmit/receive data to/from a ground-side device through LCX cables. The on-board device has calculation means 22 calculating a position of an own train, and is constituted to transmit information indicating an own vehicle position to the ground-side device by the radio communication means. The ground-side device is constituted to receive the vehicle position information and to transmit travel control information in responce to the vehicle position and the information from a train operation control system along with voice call data through LCX cables by the radio communication means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
