PURPOSE: To output Nth-order multiplied waves without using any Nth-order multiplier by adding an Nth-order resonance circuit composed of an inductor and a capacitor between the power supply terminal of the oscillator and the collector of a transistor.
CONSTITUTION: A prescribed frequency can be outputted by providing the resonance circuit composed of an inductor 12 for resonance and a capacitor 11 for resonance between a power supply terminal 2 of the oscillator and the collector of a transistor 1. In this case, the Nth-order multiplied waves can be directly outputted from this oscillator by making the output frequency coincident with the Nth-order multiplied waves at an oscillation frequency. Further, the Nth-order multiplied waves can be stably outputted without fluctuating a resonance frequency even against outside temperature fluctuation by providing +Appm temperature characteristics at the inductor 12 for resonance constituting the Nth-order resonance circuit and providing -Appm temperature coefficients at the capacitor 11 for resonance.
