Abstract:
To respond flexibly and inexpensively to changes and construction of conveyance paths.SOLUTION: A conveyance unit 10 includes: a base part 12 comprising a plurality of wheels 14 and a power source 16; photographing means 24 attached to the base part 12 so as to photograph a floor surface of a conveyance path; and a control unit 30 controlling the entire conveyance unit 10. The control unit 30 detects a guide line having a preset color from an image photographed by the photographing means 24, and controls the base part 12 to travel along the guide line. This allows the base part 12 to travel along the conveyance path provided with the guide line, moreover, a commercially available color tape, which is more inexpensive than a magnetic tape or the like and has a color preset in the control unit 30, can be used for the guide line. Therefore, it is possible to respond flexibly and inexpensively to constructing a conveyance path by pasting color tapes or changing the conveyance path by replacing color tapes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
