Abstract:
To provide a lathe tool that has a distance sensor and that can increase accuracy of dimension measurement.SOLUTION: A lathe tool includes: a tool body 10 that is extended along a tool shaft J and that has a pedestal 18 provided at a tip 10a; a cutting insert 20 that is detachably attached to the pedestal; and a distance sensor that is attached to the tool body. The distance sensor, which is an eddy current sensor, comprises a first distance sensor 31 that sets the radial outside of the tool shaft to be directed in a measurement direction, and a second distance sensor 32 that sets the axial tip side of the tool shaft to be directed in a measurement direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
