Abstract:
To provide a vehicle charging system that can maintain the good condition of a transformer by monitoring a current flowing through the transformer that constitutes a power receiving facility while performing demand control.SOLUTION: A vehicle charging system includes: a plurality of chargers 2 for charging a vehicle 4; and a charging control unit 3 that controls a charging current of the charger 2. The charging control unit 3 includes: a first measuring unit 31a that obtains received power information from a watt-hour meter 10 that measures the received power from commercial power P; and a second measuring unit 31b that obtains information on a current/voltage flowing through a step-down transformer 5b that converts the received high-voltage power into low-voltage power and supplies the power to the charger 2. The charging control unit 3 compares the received power information obtained by the first measuring unit 31a with a predetermined first set value to perform control such that the received power does not exceed the first set value, and compares the power information obtained by the second measuring unit 31b with a predetermined second set value to perform control such that the received power does not exceed the second set value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
