Abstract:
To securely prevent the deterioration of a battery when the amount of charge of the battery becomes a threshold or lower, and to appropriately restore the amount of charge of the battery when an engine is restarted thereafter.SOLUTION: A control device for a vehicle power source includes: an ISG 13; a high-voltage battery 14; a low-voltage battery 19; a low-voltage electric load 21; a DC-DC converter 17; a relay circuit 6; and a controller 10 which controls the ISG 13 in such a manner that the amount of charge of the high-voltage battery 14 is maintained within a predetermined range. The controller 10 stops the ISG 13 and the DC-DC converter 17 and opens the relay circuit 6 when the SOC of the high-voltage battery 14 is a first predetermined value or lower, the first predetermined value being smaller than a lower limit value within a predetermined range. The controller stops the DC-DC converter 17 while the amount of charge of the high-voltage battery 14 is lower than the lower limit value when an engine 11 is restarted after the SOC of the high-voltage battery 14 becomes the first predetermined value or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
