Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular headlight which can reduce power consumption, materialize suitable light distribution by a high beam and a low beam, and has high production efficiency.SOLUTION: A first low beam light module 201 is equipped with an LED; and a lens which forms a light distribution pattern having a cutoff line at an upper end portion, by refracting light incident from the LED. A first high beam light module 202 is equipped with a lens which has the same characteristics as the lens, and is disposed in a vertically reversed posture of the first low beam light module 201, so as to form a light distribution pattern having a cutoff line at a lower end portion. During the irradiation of a low beam, the LED of the first low beam light module 201 emits light, and the LED of the first high beam light module 202 does not emit light. During the irradiation of a high beam, the LEDs of the first low beam light module 201 and the first high beam light module 202 emit light.
