Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of accurately estimating burning position of a blow reduction material for blowing in blast furnace operation in which the blow reduction material is blown, and a blow tuyere.SOLUTION: In a blast furnace operation in which a blow reduction material is blown into a blast furnace through a lance of which a tip is located in a passage of a tuyere body of a blow tuyere or a blow pipe connected to the tuyere body, light emission intensity of a radiant light of combustion flame at least at 2 locations along a blow direction of the blow reduction material is measured during blowing the blow reduction material by the lance, and a burning position of the blow reduction material is estimated based on the measured light emission intensity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
