Abstract:
To provide a ship which effectively utilizes an excessive portion of boil off gas (BOG) without using a re-liquefaction device and using the BOG in a main engine as a fuel.SOLUTION: A ship 1A according to one embodiment includes: a tank 2 for storing LNG; a main engine 4 which drives a propulsive propeller 11; and a power generation engine 6 which drives a power generator 61. Further, the ship 1A includes: a first supply path 3 which is provided with pumps 31 and a carburetor 32 and supplies a vaporized gas generated in the carburetor 32 to the main engine 4 as a fuel; and a second supply path 5 which supplies BOG generated in the tank 2 to the power generation engine 6 as a fuel. The power generator 61 is connected with an inboard power line 15. A capacitor 7 for storing electric power generated by the power generator 61 is connected to the in-board power line 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
