Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a vibration body by a holding member such that vibration excited at a vibration body is not suppressed, and also to improve reliability of an adhesion part between the vibration body and holding member.SOLUTION: A vibration type actuator comprises a vibration body 10, a driven body 4 which is pressed to contact the vibration body 10, and a holding member 11 holding the vibration body 10. The holding member 11 has a positioning dowel 11d positioning the vibration body 10, and a holding part 11a including a first contact part 11b and a second contact part 11c contacting the vibration body 10. The vibration body 10 has a positioning hole 1d in which the positioning dowel 11d is fitted, and a first displacement part 1b contacting the first contact part 11b and a second displacement part 1c contacting the second contact part 11c. The area by which the first displacement part 1b having smaller vibration displacement than the second displacement part 1c contacts the first contact part 11b when the vibration body 10 is excited to vibrate is made larger than the area by which the second displacement part 1c contacts the second contact part 11c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
