Title:
VEHICULAR VISUAL CONFIRMATION CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016210265
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wear of a contact in a configuration for detecting the position of a visual confirmation section by a sliding type detection section.SOLUTION: A vehicular visual confirmation control device includes: an inside/outside motor for changing the position of a mirror surface to visually confirm the surrounding of a vehicle; an inside/outside sensor 24 for detecting the position of the mirror surface due to the change of the inside/outside motor on the basis of a resistance value of sliding resistance having a resistance value changing according to the position of the mirror surface; an ECU 12 for controlling the inside/outside motor so that the position of the mirror surface is changed to a predetermined target position on the basis of the detection result of the inside/outside sensor when a predetermined condition to change the position of the mirror surface is established; and an energization control section 56 for predicting an arrival time up to the target position and controlling energization to the sliding resistance R so that the energization is resumed after the energization to the sliding resistance is stopped until before the predicted arrival time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
