本明細書で説明されているのは、ハウジングと湾曲した遠位面を有するソールとを有する整形外科用歩行装具を提供するためのシステムおよび装置である。ハウジングは、屈曲を防止するために患者の足首を包んで固定するように構成される。ソールの遠位面は、後方領域、中央領域、および前方領域を有する。後方領域は、患者の足の踵部分の下に位置するように構成され、中央領域は、患者の足の中心部分の下に位置するように構成される。前方領域は、患者の足の前方の中足骨および爪先の部分の下に位置するように構成され、前方領域の後方側から前方領域の中央部分に向かって増加し、中央部分から前方領域の前方側に向かって減少する前後の曲率を有する。
