Abstract:
To provide a washing machine in which a rotary vane does not corotate by the rotation of a pumping vane.SOLUTION: A fully automatic washing machine includes: a washing and dewatering tub arranged rotatably in an outer tub; a rotary vane arranged rotatably at a bottom part of the washing and dewatering tub; a pumping vane arranged rotatably between a bottom wall of the washing and dewatering tub and the rotary vane; a pumping passage which is provided on a side wall of the washing and dewatering tub, and in which water supplied by the rotation of the pumping vane flows; a discharge port where the water which has flowed in the pumping passage is discharged to the inside of the washing and dewatering tub; and a drive part for driving the washing and dewatering tub, the rotary vane, and the pumping vane. The drive part includes: a drive motor; a switching part 800a for performing switching between a first drive mode in which the rotation of the drive motor is transmitted to the rotary vane and the pumping vane, and a second drive mode in which the rotation of the drive motor is not transmitted to the rotary vane but is transmitted to the pumping vane; and a restriction part 800b for restricting the rotation of the rotary vane in the second drive mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
