Abstract:
To provide a washing machine which improves the strength of a hinge structure of a lid body, and which facilitates an opening/closing operation.SOLUTION: A hinge structure 700 for pivotally supporting at a rear part a lid body 600 which openably/closably covers an input port 255 from which laundry is inputted, is provided across the width in the rear part of the lid body 600, and disposed in a space formed by a top wall 250 and a cover member 400 below an operation part 500 operable from the front side irrespective of the opening/closing state of the lid body 600. When the lid body 600 is opened/closed, the opening force is assisted by a left spring component 760 and a right spring component 770 provided at the hinge structure 700, and the closing speed is attenuated by a plurality of damper structures 780. With this constitution, even when the lid body 600 becomes heavy, the destruction of the hinge structure 700 is prevented and the opening/closing operation can be facilitated by increasing the strength of the hinge structure 700 supporting the lid body 600.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
