Abstract:
To provide a water heater capable of completing hot water filling according to the schedule of homecoming of a user.SOLUTION: A water heater starts hot water filling by using an acquired or estimated homecoming schedule time of a user. A stat of hot water filling is notified to a portable terminal of the user. A reminding notification as to whether a drain in a bathtub is plugged is made to the portable terminal. In the case of receiving a stop request of hot water filling, hot water filling is not started or stopped. In the case that the homecoming schedule time is postponed after starting hot water filling, the hot water filling is temporarily stopped. Whether or not the user is in a building with the water heater installed is determined by using position information of the user until a time related to a schedule created in advance, the hot water filling is started or the user is urged to input a homecoming schedule time in the case of determining that the user is outside the building.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
