Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed control sheet that can suppress growth of plants such as weeds by a simple structure.SOLUTION: A weed control sheet is prepared by combining cloth and a water-repelling agent. Preferably, the water-repelling agent may be applied to the surface of the fiber constituting cloth. Preferably, the water-repelling agent may be a fluorine-based water-repelling agent. Preferably, the cloth may be a non-woven fabric (particularly, a short fiber non-woven fabric containing polyester fibers). Preferably, the short fiber non-woven fabric may further contain binder fibers. Preferably, the cloth may have a basis weight of 50-1000 g/mand an apparent density of 0.05-0.5 g/cm. Preferably, a light shielding rate of the cloth may be 90% or more. A ratio of the water-repelling agent is about 0.1-10 pts. mass to the fabric of 100 pts. mass. When a weed control sheet is laid on the ground, the growth of plants can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
