Abstract:
To provide a wave making device capable of creating an artificial wave in a simple configuration having a three-dimensional inclined surface with a difference of elevation similar to that of a natural wave.SOLUTION: A wave making device comprises a pool 1, an intermediate wall 2 and a projection part 3. The pool 1 has a first lateral surface 11a and a second lateral surface 11b opposite to each other in a depth direction, a third lateral surface 11c and a fourth lateral surface 11d opposite to each other in a width direction and a bottom part 12. The intermediate wall 2 extends from the first lateral surface 11a to the second lateral surface 11b and divides the pool into a water supply side area 1a and a drainage side area 1b, a water supply port 11s for releasing water to the second lateral surface 11b is provided at the water supply side area 1a, and a drainage port 11o is provided at the drainage side area 1b. The projection part 3 is provided at a bottom part 11b between an end 2a of the intermediate wall 2 and the second lateral surface 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
