Abstract:
The present invention relates to a buoy for wave power generation, and a wave power generation system comprising the same and, more particularly, to a wave power generation system in which a buoy, which floats on the sea and flows due to waves, has a higher degree of freedom to thereby transmit forces generated from waves to a power generation apparatus to generate electric energy. The wave power generation system according to the present invention comprises: a buoy; a plurality of power transmission members; a power conversion apparatus; and a power generation apparatus. The buoy floats on the sea, flows according to the movement of waves, and transmits power to the power transmission members. The buoy comprises a body part and a fixing part, and has a partition that increases the efficiency of kinetic energy of the buoy at one side thereof. The power transmission member may be a wire, a rope, a chain, or a sprocket, and includes a roller which can rotate right and left and roll up and down. The roller, fixed on the bottom of the seabed, converts the multi-directional movements transmitted from the buoy into linear reciprocating motion and transmits the linear reciprocating motion to the power conversion apparatus. The power conversion apparatus converts linear reciprocating motion into unidirectional motion, and a portion of the unidirectional motion drives the power generation apparatus to generate electric energy, and the other portion of the unidirectional motion is stored to allow the power generating apparatus to run continuously when power is not transmitted thereto.
