Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a white thermosetting composition that can give a cured film excellent in thermal yellowing resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and solvent resistance when used in the formation of a decorative part of a touch panel; a white decorative printing ink that can give a decorative part excellent in thermal yellowing resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and solvent resistance; an image display device having a decorative part good in thermal yellowing resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and solvent resistance; and a method for manufacturing a touch panel having a white decorative part.SOLUTION: The white thermosetting composition includes as a component (A) a combination of a (meth)acrylic copolymer having a carboxyl group and a (meth)acrylic copolymer having two or more hydroxyl groups in one molecule, or a (meth)acrylic copolymer having a carboxyl group and a hydroxyl group in one molecule, as a component (B) a white pigment, as a component (C) a solvent and as a component (D) an organotitanium-based catalyst and is cured by dehydration condensation reaction of the carboxyl group and the hydroxyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
