Abstract:
To suitably extinguish burning wood pellets present in a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: In a pellet stove 10 in an operational condition, wood pellets 18 in a combustion furnace 30 of a combustion chamber 24 are burned. According to the resumption of power supply to the pellet stove 10 subsequent to stop of the power supply to the pellet stove 10 in an operational condition, air is fed into the combustion furnace 30. Hence, the wood pellets 18 in the combustion furnace 30 can be suitably and totally burned, and the burning wood pellets 18 in the combustion furnace 30 can be suitably extinguished.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
