Abstract:
To provide a work machine capable of stable assist operation.SOLUTION: A work machine includes an assist mechanism including a gas spring, which is provided between a second fulcrum fixed to a frame and a third fulcrum fixed to an apron and exerts a force in a direction of flipping up the apron by operating a force that changes the distance between the second fulcrum and the third fulcrum. The assist mechanism includes a first tubular member and a second tubular member that cause the gas spring to move on the same axis in which the gas spring is located. The second fulcrum and one end of the gas spring are connected to the first tubular member, and the other end of the gas spring is connected to the second tubular member. The force required to flip up the apron gradually decreases within a predetermined angle range in which the apron angle increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
