Abstract:
To reduce wasted time in operating a robot as much as possible to improve operation efficiency as a whole.SOLUTION: A work-piece picking device, which recognizes a position and a posture of one specific work-piece that should be picked, by making a photographing camera 3 measure positions and postures of work-pieces loaded in bulk on trays of a plurality of work-piece supply devices 1A-1D, and makes an arm of a robot 2 pick the work-pieces one by one, in accordance with the recognized result, measures the positions and the postures of the work-pieces loaded in bulk on the trays of the other work-piece supply device in order to search a target work-piece to be picked next and recognizes the position and the posture of one work-piece to be picked next, during picking operation by the robot 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
