Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a cultivation bed for plants restricted in their rooting zone and its production in which the energy reproduction by the soil fertility is effectively utilized to facilitate the administrative cultivation of crops in low costs without waste use of fertilizer, with farmer's labor and economic costs reduced and to prevent the rooting zone from being infected with pathogens.

CONSTITUTION: The cultivation soil 3 containing nutrients needed for plant growth is placed on the center of a continuous sheet 2 which is a woven or nonwoven fabric made of thermoplastic resin fibers and has water permeability but not permeates plant root. The sheet is lifted at its both edges 2a, 2b to join them. Thereby the cultivation soil 3 is wrapped with the sheet and planting gaps for crop plants 6 are formed between both edges 2a, 2b.
