Abstract:
1000 MPa grade magnetic yoke steel for manufacturing a rotor of a hydroelectric generator. Chemical components with wt% of said steel are: C: 0.15-0.25%, Si: 0.15-0.25%, Mn: 1.00-1.35%, P: ≤ 0.015%, S: ≤ 0.002%, B: 0.0010-0.0015%, Als: 0.02-0.10%, and RE: 0.10-0.20%. The production method comprises: converter smelting and LF+RH refining, then continuous casting into a slab; heating the casted slab; descaling and then hot rolling; laminar cooling; coiling; quenching; tempering; and naturally cooling to room temperature. The present invention has a yield strength greater than or equal to 1000MPa, a tensile strength greater than or equal to 1050 MPa, an elongation rate greater than or equal to 12%, and magnetic induction performance B50 greater than or equal to 1.6 T; materials used are basic, the production costs are low, and the present invention can completely satisfy a requirement for steel having a yield strength of 1000 MPa or more used for a rotor magnetic yoke of a hydroelectric generator that is needed by a 100 million kilowatt capacity single unit.
