Abstract:
The present invention can provide: a 1,3-bis(hydroxyphenyl)-5-ethyladamantane compound represented by formula (1) and a method for producing the compound; and an aromatic polycarbonate resin containing the compound and a method for producing the resin.
(In the formula, R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group; and n represents an integer of 0 to 2.)
