Abstract:
Disclosed is a 3D printing method for preparing a high-temperature superconducting yttrium-barium-copper-oxide (YBCO) wire. The method comprises the following four steps: preparing a nanoscale superconducting powder precursor; formulating a printing slurry having appropriate viscosity and support characteristics; employing CAD three-dimensional modeling to export STL-format model data, and performing slicing using professional software; and preparing a single-process-formed stranded wire with low current consumption by twisting a print head. Finally, the printed stranded wire is formed into a practical superconducting stranded cable by means of processes such as plasticizing, phase formation, oxygen supplementation, and packaging. The present invention realizes for the first time an application of direct writing advanced 3D printing technology in the preparation of a high-temperature superconducting wire. The preparation of the micro/nano-scale superconducting core filament by 3D printing achieves a filamentation process of core filaments and achieves the integrated design of material and structure. The present invention simplifies the preparation process of a high-temperature superconducting wire, improves the current-carrying performance and production efficiency of the high-temperature superconducting wire, and reduces production costs.
