Abstract:
This abnormality detection device (1) for an acceleration sensor (A) detects an abnormality in an acceleration sensor (A) comprising: a pendulum (10) having a weight (10a); a displacement detector (11) for detecting displacement of the weight (10a); a coil (12) that is attached to the weight (10a) and is capable of, when energized, applying a force for stopping the weight (10a); a servo amplifier (13) for outputting a current capable of stopping the weight (10a) to the coil (12) in accordance with the signal from the displacement detector (11); a first resistor (R1) connected in parallel with the coil (12); and a second resistor (R2) connected in series with the coil (12) and first resistor (R1). The abnormality detection device (1) detects an abnormality on the basis of a first output (S1) that is the voltage between the first resistor (R1) and second resistor (R2) and a second output (S2) that is a voltage at a position closer to the servo amplifier (13) than the first resistor (R1).
