Abstract:

Provided is a manufacturing device (100) of an absorbent article (1) with which a belt-shaped elastic member (50) which is conveyed (20W) is contiguously attached upon a web. A manufacturing device (100) comprises: a first rotation mechanism (111) which conveys the elastic member (50) along the outer circumference face; and a second rotation mechanism (121) which conveys the elastic member (50) along the outer circumference face while displacing the elastic member (50) in the width direction. A distance (L1) between a separation point (P1) whereat the elastic member (50) comes away from the first rotation mechanism (111) and a contact point (P2) whereat the elastic member comes into contact with the second rotation mechanism (121) is shorter than turning radii (R1, R2) of the first rotation mechanism (111) or the second rotation mechanism (121). The rotation speed of the second rotation mechanism (121) is faster than the rotation speed of the first rotation mechanism (111). The elastic member (50) is stretched and contracted in the conveyance direction between the separation point (P1) and the contact point (P2).
