Abstract:
Provided is an absorbent article with improved contact with the bodily fluid discharge opening and the intergluteal cleft to reliably prevent leakage to the back. In a sanitary napkin (1) in which an absorbent body (4) is placed between a fluid-permeable top sheet (3) and a fluid-impermeable back sheet (2), a pair of compressed grooves (8, 8) that extend roughly in the length direction of the absorbent article are formed on both sides of the fluid-permeable top sheet (3). The compressed grooves (8, 8) have two constricted sections (11, 12) comprising a first constricted section (11) and a second constricted section (12) where the width between the compressed grooves (8, 8) is reduced at an interval in the length direction of the napkin (1), and a bodily fluid discharge opening (H) is positioned toward the front from the two constricted sections (11, 12).
