Abstract:
An absorbent article (1) comprises a main body sheet that overlaps an absorbent body, and fastening members (20) that are connected to the outer edges of the main body sheet in the widthwise direction. The outer edges of the main body sheet in the widthwise direction are folded back along folding lines oriented in the lengthwise direction of the absorbent body, and are temporarily affixed in a separable manner to the main body sheet at positions further towards the inside in the widthwise direction than the folding lines by means of a second connection part (32). The second connection parts are positioned both further to the outside in the lengthwise direction than width regions extending in the width direction from the fastening base parts where the main body sheet and the fastening members overlap, and further to the inside in the lengthwise direction than the width regions.
