Abstract:
This absorbent article has formed thereon: a pair of second lengthwise compression grooves (82), each of which is arranged to the outside, in the widthwise direction, of a central region (RC) including the widthwise center of an absorbent body; and a pair of second widthwise compression grooves (86) extending in the widthwise direction. Low-rigidity regions (RL) are provided between the second lengthwise compression grooves (82) and the ends, in the widthwise direction, of the absorbent body. High-rigidity regions (RH) having a higher rigidity than the low-rigidity regions are provided to the outside, in the lengthwise direction, of the low-rigidity regions. Compression grooves, which compress the absorbent body in the thickness direction thereof, are formed in the high-rigidity regions and are provided to the outside, in the widthwise direction, of each of four outer ends, in the lengthwise direction, of the second compression grooves (82).
