Abstract:
A layered nonwoven fabric (10) of this absorbent article (1) has a hydrophilic first layer (11) and a hydrophobic second layer (12). The first layer (11) is configured to include non-heat-fusible fibers, and the second layer (12) is configured mainly from heat-fusible fibers that are long. The laminated nonwoven fabric (10) partially has, in plan view, an interlayer junction parts (16) by which the respective layers constituting a layered structure (13) are joined, the interlayer junction parts (16) having a thickness less than that of peripheral parts. The portions having the interlayer junction parts (16) are recessed from a second surface (10b) side toward a first surface (10a) side. In the interlayer junction parts (16), constituent fibers of the first layer (11) maintain a fiber form, and constituent fibers (15) of the second layer (12) melt, and part of the molten constituent resin enters between the constituent fibers of the first layer (11) and solidifies. The laminated nonwoven fabric (10) is disposed on a waist part of the absorbent article (1) with the second surface (10b) facing the skin side of the wearer.
