Abstract:
According to the present invention, a surface sheet (3) has a portion overlapping an absorptive body (5) when viewed in a plan view, and an extension part (32E) extending from a side edge (5S) of the absorptive body (5) to the outside in a transverse direction (Y). A hydrophobic cuff sheet (70) serving as a main body of a leak-preventing cuff (7) has, on at least a crotch part (M), a region which is composed of a fixed section (71) in which an outer side in the traverse direction (Y) is fixed to another member, and a free section (72) in which the inner side in the traverse direction (Y) is not fixed to another member. A sealing part (10), in which skin-side hydrophobic sheets (22, 23, 70) and a non-skin-side hydrophobic sheet (4) are joined, is present on a hydrophobic sheet overlap section (24) of a side flap part (20). The sealing part (10) passes between an extension part (32E) of the surface sheet (3) and a leg-surrounding elastic member (8) disposed on the outermost side in the traverse direction (Y), and is continuous in the longitudinal direction (X) over the entire length of the diaper (1) in the longitudinal direction (X).
