Abstract:
An absorbent article (1) comprises an absorbent core (10) and a plurality of nonwoven fabrics. The nonwoven fabrics include a first nonwoven fabric (35) which has a region that overlaps an absorbent core (24). The first nonwoven fabric (35) is so disposed as to straddle a center line that divides the absorbent core (24) into two in the width direction. When the maximum load in a nonwoven fabric compression test to compress a nonwoven fabric in the width direction is defined as a compression repulsive force of said nonwoven fabric, the compression repulsive force of the first nonwoven fabric (35) in the width direction is greater than those of the other nonwoven fabrics that have regions overlapping the absorbent core (24).
