Abstract:

The present invention is an absorbent article (1), provided with an absorbent main body (2) that comprises an absorbent body (23) and an exterior body that is disposed on a non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent main body (2), wherein: the exterior body comprises an abdominal-side panel (4A) and a back-side panel (4B); the abdominal-side panel (4A) or the back-side panel (4B) is provided with an elastic member disposition region (11) where an elastic member is disposed along a lateral direction (Y) of the absorbent article (1); the absorbent article (1) comprises an overlap region (12a) where the elastic member disposition region (11) and the absorbent body (23) overlap in plan view of the absorbent article (1); and, in the overlap region (12a), a non-skin-facing-surface-side region (13) constituted by members, among members present in the overlap region (12a), which are located more towards the non-skin-facing-surface side than the absorbent body (23) comprises a high-fiber-content region (14) that has a higher content ratio of water-absorbing fibers than a non-overlap region (12b) apart from the overlap region (12a) in the abdominal-side panel (4A) or the back-side panel (4B).
