Abstract:
Provided is an absorbent article that can easily maintain the absorbency of an absorbent core while suppressing liquid residue on a top sheet. An absorbent article (1) has a liquid-permeable top sheet (10), a liquid-impermeable back sheet (20), and an absorbent core (31) disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. A low liquid-permeable part (100) is provided at a location which is more on the non-skin side than the non-skin surface of the top sheet, and more on the skin side than the non-skin surface of the absorbent core, the low liquid-permeable part allowing a slower passage of body fluid from the skin side to the non-skin side compared to the surrounding areas. The low liquid-permeable part is located in a central region (RC) of the absorbent core, the central region being at the center when the absorbent core is equally divided into three in the width direction of the absorbent core.
