Abstract:
These absorbent particles include a carrier particle which comprises an organic polymer that includes monomer units derived from a styrene-base monomer, an organic compound which is attached to the surface of the carrier particle and which has an amino group, and a diglycolic acid residue which is bonded to the amino group. The organic compound further has at least one group selected from a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, a sulfinyl group, and an oxyalkylene group.
