Abstract:
The present invention relates to an abutment for a dental implant that performs a function of buffering the occlusal force transmitted through a prosthesis and enables, instead of an adhesive, elastic bonding with the prosthesis. The abutment for a dental implant of the present invention is formed to have a larger outer diameter of the upper end portion of an upper portion of the abutment on which the prosthesis is mounted than that of the directly lower portion, and comprises: a prosthesis fastening protrusion part that protrudes outward from the outer surface of the abutment; and a cut-out part that divides the upper portion of the abutment into a plurality of segments, wherein the cut-out part is formed continuously from the top-end surface to the lower side of the abutment in a certain section, the cut-out part being formed in a spiral or oblique shape.
