Abstract:
In an example, two battery units as a battery are connected through the secondary coil of a step-down transformer. In another example, the battery is connected to a capacitor through the secondary coil of the step-down transformer. The capacitor consists of a smoothing capacitor 3 connected to a pair of DC input terminals of a power switching circuit. Thus, by supplying an AC current to the battery, the battery can be charged and discharged without using a complex circuit. A secondary AC voltage induced in the secondary coil charges and discharges the battery. Thus, the internal state of the battery can be improved while suppressing a change in the capacity of the battery.
