Abstract:
The present invention comprises: an acceleration high-frequency applying device that is capable of frequency modulation, and applies an acceleration high-frequency wave to accelerate a beam; a high-frequency kicker (70) that applies an extraction high-frequency wave for extracting the beam, the extraction high-frequency wave having a different frequency from the acceleration high-frequency wave; a peeler magnetic field region (44) and a regenerator magnetic field region (45) that form a disturbance magnetic field region made of a high-order magnetic field including a magnetic field component having two or more poles and at least a quadrupole magnetic field component; and a septum electromagnet (43), (43A), (43B) having a shim made of a magnetic material, an inner circumferential septum coil conductor (5), an outer circumferential septum coil conductor (6), a coil conductor connecting section (7), and a coil lead section (8).
