Abstract:
An accelerator pedal device (12) for a vehicle, performing a pedal reaction force control method. The accelerator pedal device (12) is provided with an engine speed detection means (16) which detects the engine speed (Ne) and a reaction force control means (36) which controls, on the basis of the engine speed (Ne), a pedal reaction force (Fr) applied by a reaction force application means (38). The reaction force control means (36) limits the reduction ratio of the pedal reaction force (Fr) when the reduction ratio of the engine speed (Ne) is greater than or equal to a predetermined value.
