Abstract:

Disclosed is an accelerator pedal device (100) provided with a driving control device (66). The driving control device (66) generates a braking force for braking a vehicle (10) when the operation quantity (θp) of an acceleration pedal (12) is below a first threshold value (TH1), and generates a driving force for driving the vehicle (10) when the operation quantity (θp) exceeds a second threshold value (TH2) larger than the first threshold value (TH1). The driving control device does not generate either the driving force or the braking force, and allows the vehicle (10) to drive inertially, when the operation quantity (θp) ranges from the first threshold value (TH1) to the second threshold value (TH2).
