Abstract:
An accelerator pedal operation device has a pedal lever (12) swinging in response to depression of an accelerator pedal (2); a link mechanism (8) having a reversal lever (11) swinging in association with the movement of the pedal lever (12); an acceleration stroke sensor (7) for detecting the amount of swing of the reversal lever (11) to regulate the amount of fuel injection; and an acceleration switch (28) for detecting, in cooperation with the pedal lever (12), whether or not the accelerator pedal (2) is depressed. The pedal lever (12) has a first lever (16) and a second lever (17) that are extended in two directions from a boss (15) as the center of the swing of the first and second levers. The reversal lever (11) is connected to the head of the extension of the first lever (16), and the accelerator pedal (2) is engaged with the head of the extension of the second lever (17). An operation section (18) is provided on the opposite side of the boss (15) from the head of the extension of the second lever (17), and the operation section (18) operates the acceleration switch (28).
