Abstract:

The present invention relates to the field of network communications. Provided are an access method, apparatus and system based on a temporary MAC address. The method comprises: during the process that a STA performs wireless communication access authentication with a base station, sending to the STA a message for indicating whether the base station supports using a temporary MAC address (TMA) by the STA. In the present invention, a message for indicating whether a base station supports using a temporary MAC address (TMA) by a STA is sent to the STA, so the problem that when the base station does not support using the TMA by the STA, the STA continuously uses the generated TMA to perform access authentication with the base station and thus the STA cannot perform normal communication is solved, and the effect of preventing denied access of the STA when the base station does not support using the TMA by the STA, thereby ensuring that the STA uses an RMA for access authentication and realizing wireless communication is achieved.
