Abstract:

Provided are an access point (AP), a station (STA), a communication system and a data transmission method. The data transmission method comprises: a main station, which obtains at least one channel through competition, sending an access request to an access point which is in the same basic service set as the main station, wherein the basic service set comprises the access point and a plurality of stations, and the main station is a station which firstly obtains a channel through competition among the plurality of stations; instructing surrounding stations to judge whether to follow the main station to send the access request according to a condition, wherein the stations which follow the main station to send the access request satisfy the following conditions: having cache data to be transmitted, being located in the same basic service set (BSS) as the main station, and the power of a signal received from the main station being greater than a pre-set threshold value; and receiving response information sent by an AP so as to transmit uplink data on a specified sub-channel. By means of the data transmission method of the present invention, empty triggering can be avoided, and an interference range can be reduced.
