Abstract:
The present application provides an AP candidate set establishment method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a first AP generates AP candidate set information of the first AP, the AP candidate set information of the first AP being used for indicating information of the AP that initiates multi-AP transmission; and the first AP sends the AP candidate set information of the first AP. According to the solution provided by the present application, the first AP generates and sends the AP candidate set information thereof, so that other APs can learn the candidate set information established by the first AP, and on the basis of the AP candidate set information, other APs can further decide whether to join a candidate set established by the first AP. Therefore, the first AP sends the AP candidate set information thereof to enable the first AP to effectively manage the AP candidate set established by the first AP, so as to avoid confusion.
